Your telephone call is important to us, and we understand that you want to speak to us as quickly as possible.  If you are telephoning about a repeat prescription or information about test results, please call AFTER 11.00 am. 


Repeat Prescriptions

If you wish to order a repeat prescription you can use our dedicated Repeat Prescription line on 01305 217037 and leave a message.  Remember you must allow at least two working days before you need it (we need time to print the script, order the goods, dispense the order and check it).   

Test Results

test_results8If you have had a test carried out it is important that you contact the surgery to check if any action is required following the test.  Please remember to telephone AFTER 11.00 am.  All results are seen by the doctor who ordered the test and they will attach a message for reception staff to pass to the patient. If the doctor wants to see you to explain the result, we will offer you an appointment.

The results for the majority of blood and urine tests are normally available within 3 days.  More complicated tests, and some that are sent away to specialist laboratories, may take longer.  X-ray results usually take around 10 days.

Please note that we have a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection. In this respect we will only give out results to the person they relate to unless that person has given prior permission for their release or if they are not capable of understanding them.
